Above all else, Boyd puts his faith in Christ first and seeks to serve Him in everything he does. Born and raised in Florence, SC, Boyd grew up in the outdoors and has always felt like it was where he was able to connect and witness God. Since moving to Charleston, SC in 2017, he has developed an obsession with the local creeks and rivers where wildlife abound. It was an early morning fishing trip on the Stono River that gave him the idea to start Skiff Ministries as a platform to connect the outdoors with the Gospel and help introduce people to Jesus. His goal is to create a place where all people can come and learn about the Bible while building a relationship with Christ in the environment that surrounds all of us. Boyd is married to his dream girl, Madison, and they have a little boy named Bear. The family is rounded out with their two Labrador Retrievers, Jake and Jolene.
